Ronan's killer is Rex, his very own brother-in-law. Rex killed Ronan while being possessed by the evil Abigail. His full name is Rex Reyes. 'Rex' means 'king' in Latin and 'reyes' is, in modern Spanish, the plural of the same word, meaning 'kings'. Now look at the plaque that is pictured in the screenshot above, that belongs to the apartment building where Ronan met his killer. The building is called 'The Regal Apartments'. 'Regal' means 'royal', in other words, something associated with 'king', therefore: Rex Reyes.
